Super simple and quick option that never gets old. Personally, I baked the burgers @ 375 for 25 minutes flipping halfway through because I was making them for my weekly meal prep, however, they are just as tasty if made right on the grill or pan fried. When it comes to reheating though, I do enjoy using the grill for those lovely grill markers. The toppings for my burgers are always changing, however, for this burger I really enjoy using the sweet peppers, red onion, lettuce, and tomato pairing. Now that I think about it, a garlic aioli would be a great addition to this combo, definitely going to have to try that out and give you guys an update.

Ingredients:
2 cans black beans
1 red pepper
1 small onion
1 lime ( zest + juice)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp chili flakes
¼ cup + 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 tbsp cilantro
salt/pepper
How to:
Add beans to a bowl and roughly mash with a fork/potato masher, leaving the texture a little more on the chunkier side.
Dice the red pepper + onion and zest/juice the lime. set lime aside and lightly sauté the onions and peppers until tender for 5-10 minutes.
Once done, add all to the bean mixture along with cumin, paprika, garlic, chili flakes, ground flaxseed, cilantro, and salt/pepper.
Mix together until well combined, then allow the mixture to set in the fridge for about 15 minutes to allow the ground flaxseed to set up.
Once set, shape into patties & cook to your liking (:
